AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said on Thursday that the exit polls have an age of just one day, then the real results will be announced and Arvind Kejriwal will be the Chief Minister of the AAP-led government.

"If the BJP is happy with exit polls, they should make their government based on exit polls - they should make the CM and some ministers. These exit polls have an age of just one day - then the real results will be announced Arvind Kejriwal will be the CM and AAP will form the government," Bharadwaj said.

He further claimed that the Election Commission and other constitutional institutions that once existed in the country are now clearly under the control of the government.

"These institutions now mostly function like departments of the BJP. This has weakened our democratic roots," the AAP leader said.

AAP MP Malvinder Singh Kang exuded confidence and said that the people of Delhi will choose the AAP.

"From the first day, we contested elections based on the 10 years of work of Arvind Kejriwal. BJP contested on 'gali galoch' and misused the machinery. Be it Delhi Police or Election Commission, they have been politicised. False cases were made against people of AAP...Despite all of this, people of Delhi will choose AAP. We are confident that on February 8 when results come, Arvind Kejriwal will become the CM of Delhi once again," Kang said.

The exit polls varied in their prediction of the margin of BJP victory with one poll saying that the party could win 51-60 out of 70 assembly seats in Delhi. Two polls also predicted AAP victory. The exit polls came with their predictions after the conclusion of voting in Delhi assembly polls on Wednesday.

According to the P-MARQ exit poll, BJP is likely to win 39-49 assembly seats, AAP 21-31 seats and Congress 0-1 seats.

Matrize's exit poll predicted a close contest between BJP and AAP. It said BJP is likely to win 35-40 seats and AAP 32-37 seats. It said Congress can win one seat.

WeePreside exit poll said AAP could win 46-52 seats, BJP 18-23 seats and Congress 0-1 seat.
