Almost all exit polls have suggested the BJP's return to power in Delhi, while the ruling AAP could lose its majority in Delhi's assembly election. The Election Commission will announce official results on February 8. Several polls show varying predictions. Matrize projects 35-40 seats for the BJP-led NDA and 32-37 for AAP, with Congress possibly winning one at most. People's Pulse gives NDA a wider lead, predicting 51-60 seats compared to AAP's 10-19, with Congress winning none. People's Insight forecasts 40-44 seats for NDA, 25-29 for AAP, and up to one for Congress. P-Marq sees the BJP alliance winning 39-49 seats, AAP 21-31, and Congress potentially one. JVC's projection is 39-45 for the BJP alliance, 22-31 for AAP, and up to two for Congress.

Among all this only one exit polls have given a clear majority to Arvind Kejriwal-led party. The Weepreside exit poll projects AAP securing 46 to 52 seats out of 70, while BJP is expected to win 18 to 23 seats. Congress may win one seat.

A majority in the 70-member assembly is 36 seats. In the previous 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, AAP won a landslide victory with 62 seats, while BJP secured 8. Congress did not win any seats. Voting in the national capital concluded today. Nearly 58% of the 1.55 crore eligible voters cast ballots by 5 p.m. Exit polls are projections made by election survey agencies based on interviews of voters as they come out after casting their votes. These may vary widely from the actual results.
