"Heartfelt congratulations to the esteemed Shri Nitish Kumar Ji on taking the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Bihar. Heartfelt best wishes to all the ministers of the Bihar government who took the oath as members of the Council of Ministers," the JDU leader said in a post X, hours after Kumar was sworn in as Bihar's CM for a record 10th time.
However, Yadav also pointed that he hoped the administration would keep its words to the people of the state.
"I hope that the new government will live up to the hopes and expectations of responsible people, fulfill its promises and declarations, and bring positive and qualitative changes in the lives of the people of Bihar," he added.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at Raj Bhawan, marked a significant moment in Bihar’s political history, with top National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders—including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP ministers—present to witness Kumar’s return to power after the NDA’s sweeping win in the 2025 assembly elections.
A total of 12 ministers took oath alongside him, reinforcing the alliance’s show of unity.
