RJD leader Manoj Kumar Jha on Wednesday hailed the press conference by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as a "game-changer" ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, asserting that the public will reaffirm its 2020 mandate through a renewed mass uprising.

Jha reflected on the 2020 election outcome, in which the Mahagathbandhan narrowly lost to the NDA amid allegations of irregularities. In reference to the seat-sharing arrangement of the Mahagathbandhan, he stated that despite engaging in discussions on significant issues, the conversation continues to revolve around a matter that has 'already been settled'.

"The public decides many things. I've been saying this repeatedly, and I'm repeating it again today: the public decided the outcome in 2020 through the mass uprising, which we lost due to postal ballot manipulation. It's possible that today, people's interest will be confirmed in how a shared vision is demonstrated. Yesterday, Tejashwi Yadav held a press conference, that is a game-changer... he has already addressed critical issues like government jobs, migration, and law and order management. Despite focusing on these pressing concerns, the discussion continues to dwell on matters that are 'already settled'," he said.

RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari also endorsed Tejashwi as the CM face of the Mahagathbandhan

"Bihar mein Tejashwi hi Tejashwi hai. The people of Bihar know that they are going to vote on Tejashwi Yadav's promises, intentions, and resolutions on 243 seats. The public has already approved Tejashwi Yadav's face as CM. The rest are formalities and all that will also be completed. The people of Bihar have accepted Tejashwi Yadav as their Chief Minister. The people of Bihar have faith in Tejashwi Yadav," he said.

The 2025 Bihar Elections will see a contest between the National Democratic Alliance and the Mahagathbandhan.

The NDA comprises the Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), HindustAwam Morcha (Secular), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.

Additionally, Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj has also staked claims on all 243 seats of the state.

The assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14.
