PM Modi offering 'vote revdi' in Bihar: Congress
On Saturday, the Congress criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for handing out ₹10,000 each to 7.5 million women in poll-bound Bihar, labeling the new self-employment initiative as a "vote revdi" aimed at garnering votes.

"Along with 'vote theft', the prime minister is now engaged in distributing 'vote revdi'," Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh alleged.
Recalling Modi's past criticism of the Congress-led Karnataka government's Grihalakshmi scheme for providing ₹2,000 per month to 13 million women, Ramesh said, "And just yesterday, he announced an OTP ('one-time payment') for the women of Bihar."
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday left for yet another foreign tour, this time to South America.-OPB
