Returning to the poll-bound state after an almost two-month hibernation post 'voter adhikar yatra', Gandhi paired with RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav in addressing two rallies. Maintaining that the JDU-BJP reign in Bihar failed to deliver development, Gandhi said Kumar is no longer in control of his government, "Nitish ji's face is being used. The remote control is in the hands of the BJP. You should not think that the voice of the most backward people is heard there. Three or four people control it. BJP controls it. They have the remote control in their hands, and they have nothing to do with social justice," he said at Muzaffarpur.
Maintaining that Modi will do anything to win votes, Gandhi said: "He (PM) has nothing to do with the Yamuna. He has nothing to do with Chhath Puja. He just wants your vote. If you tell Modi to dance, he will dance. You can make him do anything for votes".
He raised his 'vote-chori' plank saying: "They (BJP) are engaged in stealing your votes. Because they want to end this election disease. I am telling you, they stole the elections in Maharashtra, they stole the elections in Haryana, and they will try their best in Bihar."
Tejashwi Yadav, the chief ministerial candidate of the Opposition alliance, appealed to the voters to give him a chance to deliver better days for Bihar. "Tejashwi wants to end migration from Bihar and make Bihar crime-free and corruption-free. I want to make Bihar number one. Even after 20 years of Nitish Kumar's rule and 11 years of Modi's rule, Bihar remains the poorest state in the country. Bihar has the highest unemployment, inflation, and migration...As soon as our government is formed, within 20 days, a law will be passed to provide a government job to every family that doesn't have a government job."
