Patna: BJP is giving final touches to its manifesto which is likely to be released ahead of the first phase of polls. Its main highlights are likely to be industrialisation, job creation and women, sources said.

Showcasing the achievements of the existing NDA government under chief minister Nitish Kumar, the party is working on making 25 broader announcements covering all aspects of development.

The party has also been carrying out a 'Sujhav Yatra' to take suggestions from the public for its manifesto. The manifesto will lay emphasis on industrialisation in the state through creation of industrial corridors, promoting entrepreneurship, district-level manufacturing hubs, with specific focus on food-processing, textile and leather industries, sources said.

The manifesto is likely to be released either on November 1 or November 2. A senior national leader is likely to release it, they added.
