Bihar election 2025: Liquor shops near state border in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria to remain shut from Nov 4-6

Liquor shops near the Bihar border in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria will remain shut from November 4-6 in view of the assembly elections scheduled on November 6.

Liquor shops within three kilometres from the Bihar border in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria district will remain closed, officials told PTI.

Bihar will vote in two phases to elect its next Assembly, with 121 seats going to polls on November 6 and the remaining 122 seats on November 11.


The counting of votes for all 243 constituencies will take place on November 14. The current Assembly term ends on November 22, 2025.
