Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's government expanded its cabinet on Wednesday, ahead of the November assembly elections. Seven new MLAs, including Sanjay Saraogi, Sunil Kumar, Jibesh Mishra, Motilal Prasad, and Raju Kumar Singh, were sworn in as cabinet ministers.

Meanwhile, Bihar's Revenue Minister and BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal resigned from his ministerial post, citing the BJP's "One Person, One Post" policy. Jaiswal, appointed as BJP's Bihar state president in January, expressed his gratitude to the central leadership for the new responsibility.

Jaiswal's resignation could trigger further reshuffling in Nitish Kumar's cabinet. In response to the cabinet expansion, Jaiswal stated that such decisions were at the discretion of the Chief Minister.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's son, Nishant Kumar, urged voters to support his father in the upcoming elections, highlighting the state's development under his leadership.
