After the record voting in the first phase of polling in Bihar elections, the last phase of voting will be conducted on November 11. The Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections are being held in two phases, on November 6 (Phase I) and November 11 (Phase II). Vote counting is scheduled for November 14, 2025. The term of the current Bihar Assembly ends on November 22, 2025, and a total of 2,616 candidates are contesting across both phases.

Bihar Election Voting and Counting Details

Polling for both phases will be held from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Voters already in line by 5 PM will still be permitted to cast their ballots. The vote counting for all 243 assembly constituencies is scheduled for November 14, 2025, which will decide the formation of the next Bihar government.

Bihar Polls Phase 1

The final turnout in the first phase of the Bihar assembly polls is 65.08 per cent, the highest in the state's history, the Election Commission said. A total of 3.75 crore people were eligible to cast their votes at 45,341 polling stations, including 36,733 in rural areas, on November 6 to decide the electoral fate of 1,314 candidates, of whom 1,192 are men and 122 women.
