The announcement came just before the press time after a tedious negotiation, which also saw Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi speaking to RJD supremo Lalu Prasad.
Congress is hoping to get about 60 seats, even as allies have been asking it to contest less than the 70 it contested in 2020. The first list was released after RJD reportedly settled VIP's claim for around 15 seats.
The renominated MLAs included Rajesh Ram (PCC chief) from Kutumba, CLP leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan (Kadwa), Vijendra Chaudhary (Muzaffarpur), Anand Shankar Singh (Aurangabad), Sanjay Tiwari (Buxur) Santosh Mishra ( Karhagar), Abidur Rahman (Aralia), Ijahural Hussain (Kishanganj) Mod Afaque Alam (Kasba), Manohan Singh (Manihari), Vijay Dubey (Maharajganj), Pratima Kumari (Rajapakar), Chtarapati Yadav (Khagaria), Ajit Sharma (Bhagalpur), Ajay Kumar Singh (Jamalpur), Viswanath Ram (Rajpur), Nitu Kumari (Hiswa).
Names of Om Prakash Garg (Gopalganj), Chandan Yadav (Khagaria), Amita Bhushan (Begusarai) and Kaushelendra Kumar (Nalanda), among others, were announced by the party.
