HUL appoints Dev Bajpai as director on the board of the company

MUMBAI: HUL has appointed Dev Bajpai as Director on the Board of the company.

Bajpai was appointed as the Executive Director Legal and Company Secretary and as a member of the Management Committee of the company in May 2010.

"Under Dev’s leadership of the legal function, the Company has set new benchmarks on corporate governance and ethics. Dev has contributed significantly to industry led efforts on matters requiring advocacy and legislative changes," said Harish Manwani, Chairman, HUL.

Bajpai has 29 years of experience in the areas of Legal, Governance, Tax and Corporate Affairs across industries including Automobiles, FMCG, Hospitality and Private Equity. Prior to joining HUL, Bajpai has worked in Maruti Udyog, Marico, The Indian Hotels and ICICI Venture Funds Management.

He is also a member of the Board of Governors of The Advertising Standards Council of India.
