Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Avro India, Pritika Engineering Components Ltd., Tainwala Chem, Baheti Recycling Industries Ltd. and Gujarat Pipavav, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:56AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 38.25 points to 18229.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Elin Electronics Ltd., Zim Laboratories, Sintex Inds., Godha Cabcon & Insul and Goenka Diamond, touched their fresh 52-week low.


Overall, 31 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, ONGC, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel and Titan Company were among top gainers, while SBI Life, Eicher Motors, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel and Cipla traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 139.42 points up at 61273.3 at 10:56AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Cables, Defence, Agro Processing and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, Services, IT Enabled Services, NBFC and Miscellaneous sectors.
