Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Cords Cable Ind, Universal Cable, Kalyani Invst, Cool Caps Industries Ltd. and GIC Housing Fin, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 92.15 points up at 18197.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Arham Technologies Ltd., TCI Finance, Moxsh Overseas Educon Ltd., Parenteral Drug and Godha Cabcon & Insul, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 31 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, Hindalco, ONGC, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Titan Company, Divis Labs, Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 327.05 points up at 61167.79.

Traders piled up positions in Cables, Holding Company, Metals - Non Ferrous, Leather and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Glass, Learning & Education, Textiles, Trading and Auto sectors during the day.
