Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Dev Information Tech, Panama Petro, V-Marc India Ltd., Hariom Pipe Industries Ltd. and BHEL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dev Information Tech, Panama Petro, V-Marc India Ltd., Hariom Pipe Industries Ltd. and BHEL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 28.65 points up at 18512.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sanwaria Consumer, Jump Networks, Sintex Plastics Tech, FutureLifestyleFash and Nureca Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 29 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, Tata Motors, RIL, Hero MotoCorp and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while Nestle India, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Titan Company and Apollo Hospital ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 20.96 points up at 62293.64.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Tyres, Infrastructure, Media & Entertainment and Mining sectors, while selling was witnessed in Services, NBFC, Learning & Education, Miscellaneous and Glass sectors during the day.
