Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Globesecure Technologies Ltd., HAL, Kohinoor Foods, Globe Intl. Carriers and CMM Infraprojects Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 67.1 points down at 15293.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Biofil Chem, Vivimed Labs, SKM Egg Prod, JTL Infra and Jubilant Life, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 12 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 38 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, JSW Steel, Coal India Ltd and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Titan Company, Wipro, Shree Cements, HDFC Life and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 135.37 points down at 51360.42.

Traders piled up positions in Glass, Defence, Industrial Equipment, Telecommunications and Mining sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
