Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Avro India, Silver Touch Tech, Penta Gold, Impex Ferro Tech and Lexus Granito(India), hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 25.85 points down at 15782.15 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Indus Towers, Oracle, Honeywell, Yuken India and Emami, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 25 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, M&M, HUL and ITC were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, JSW Steel, SBI, NTPC and ICICI Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 136.69 points down at 52793.62.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, Miscellaneous, IT - Hardware, Cables and Tobacco sectors, while selling was witnessed in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Power and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
