Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of GE T&D India, The Anup Engg, Tilaknagar Ind, Aptech and Quicktouch Technolog, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 51.8 points down at 18129.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as SITI Networks, Jakharia Fabric, Viji Finance, Cerebra Integrat and SEL Manufact, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 12 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Kotak Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while Divis Labs, Adani Ports SEZ, SBI, ITC and Titan Company ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 128.9 points down at 61431.74.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Agro Processing, Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Media & Entertainment, Fertilisers, Shipping, Cables and Real Estate sectors during the day.
