Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 552.08 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 438.33 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 345.86 crore), RIL(Rs. 330.21 crore), Quess Corp(Rs. 322.46 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 270.74 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 246.82 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 237.15 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 231.54 crore) and SBI(Rs. 193.52 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 59.75 points up at 17011.45, while BSE Sensex was up 176.23 points at 57789.95 as of 10:04AM(IST)on March 29.

In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 3.50 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.21 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.58 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.55 per cent) were among the top gainers.


On the other hand, UPL Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.24 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent) were among the top losers.
