Stock market update: 35 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Chennai Petroleum and Deccan Cements.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 8.20 points down, while the BSE Sensex was trading 4.97 points up at 40,798.78.
NEW DELHI: Around 35 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Chennai Petroleum, Deccan Cements, Gujarat Fluorochemicals and Orient Press.

Bhageria, Pokarna, Supreme Petrochem and Texmaco Rail also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows on NSE.


Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 8.20 points down, while the BSE Sensex was trading 4.97 points up at 40,798.78.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Airtel, Grasim Industries, RIL, Bharti Infratel and Zee Entertainment were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, Bajaj Finance, Tech Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finserv and Dr. Reddys Laboratory were among the top losers.
