Share market update: Realty shares rise; Sobha gains over 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading lower in Tuesday's session.

Shares of SOBHA (up 3.65 per cent) , Godrej Properties (up 3.47 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (up 2.7 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (up 2.54 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (up 2.11 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.29 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.28 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.02 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.74 per cent up at 205.2 around 12:21PM.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 32.10 points at 10344.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 99.3 points at 35060.82.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, BHEL, BEL, SAIL, Ashok Leyland, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, SBI and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
