Share market update: Realty shares fall; Sunteck Realty dips 4%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Thursday's session.

Shares of Sunteck Realty (down 3.66 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (down 3.13 per cent) , DLF (down 2.94 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (down 2.9 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (down 2.54 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 1.82 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 1.66 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.13 per cent down at 174.6 around 01:58PM.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 193.95 points at 9189.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 703.29 points at 31305.32.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 11 were trading in the green, while 39 were in the red.

Shares of BHEL, Vodafone Idea, Tata Power, Adani Power, Federal Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, NTPC and Vedanta were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
