Shares of Sun Pharma (Rs 160.67 crore), SBI (Rs 157.46 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs 156.73 crore), ITC (Rs 126.03 crore), GAIL (Rs 101.01 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 95.71 crore), Axis Bank (Rs 77.08 crore), YES Bank (Rs 74.81 crore), Aurobindo Pharma (Rs 61.05 crore), HCL Tech (Rs 58.92 crore), TCS (Rs 54.78 crore), PNB (Rs 53.59 crore), Tata Motors (Rs 53.43 crore), and Hindustan Unilever (Rs 33.79 crore) stood among the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in the morning trade on Tuesday.

Around the same time, in the Nifty 50 index, Sun Pharma (down 5.36 per cent), GAIL (down 5.30 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (down 4.68 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 2.79 per cent), Cipla (down 2.72 per cent), Adani Ports SEZ (down 2.54 per cent), Bank of Baroda (down 2.52 per cent), Tata Power(down 2.19 per cent), PowerGrid (down 2.00 per cent), YES Bank (down 1.91 per cent) and Asian Paints (down 0.69 per cent) stood among top losers.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki (up 1.96 per cent), HCL Tech (up 0.95 per cent), Wipro (up 0.92 per cent), HDFC (up 0.77 per cent), TCS (up 0.71 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.64 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 0.58 per cent), Hind. Unilever (up 0.50 per cent), ICICI Bank (up 0.39 per cent), Infosys (up 0.01 per cent), UltraTech Cement (up 0.01 per cent), HDFC Bank (up 0.00 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 0.05 per cent), and RIL (up 0.48 per cent topped on the Nifty 50 chart.

On the other hand KSS Ltd, FCS Software, Value Industries, Videocon Industries, Tera Software, Reliance Communications, Gallantt Ispat, Blue Blends, Aurobindo Pharma, Inox Wind Ltd., Sita Shree Food, Pricol Ltd. and Divi's Lab hit their new 52-week low levels.
