Market Now: IB Real Estate, DLF take Nifty Realty index up
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.71 per cent up at 306 around 11 am.

Indiabulls Real Estate (up 8.96 per cent) and DLF (1.72 per cent) gave sentiment some lift. The scrip jumped after reports that the board will meet this Friday to consider the share buyback proposal.
The Nifty Realty index went higher by 1.71 per cent to 306 around 11 am.
Phoenix Mills (up 0.95 per cent), Godrej Properties (0.82 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (0.18 per cent) marched forward.
However, Unitech plunged over 3 per cent. HDIL (down 0.94 per cent), Sobha (0.74 per cent), Oberoi Realty (0.23 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (0.18 per cent) took some blows too.
Benchmark NSE Nifty trended down 81 points at 10,721 while the BSE Sensex slumped 234 points to 35,310.
Of the 50 stocks on the Nifty index, 9 rose and 41 played catch-up.
Lupin, Wipro and Titan were the top gainers of the Nifty index. On the other hand, Cipla, ICICI Bank and GAIL trailed.
