Market Now: BSE Consumer Durables index in the green; Titan, Bajaj Electricals among top gainers

NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Consumer Durables index was trading 0.40 per cent up at 18,427 around 01:35 pm (IST), with shares of Titan Company (up 1.31 per cent), Symphony (up 0.98 per cent), Bajaj Electricals (up 0.93 per cent) and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals (up 0.92 per cent) as the top gainers.
However, shares of Blue Star (down 4.76 per cent), TTK Prestige (down 2.06 per cent) and PC Jeweller (down 0.72 per cent) were losing in trade around that time.
Benchmark indices were trading flat. The BSE Sensex was 8 points up at 33,608, while the Nifty50 index was 8 points down at 10,433.
Lupin, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy's, Cipla, Coal India, Power Grid Corporation, ICICI Bank and Tata Consultancy Services were among the top gainers in the Sensex index.
On the other hand, Hindustan Unilever, Hero MotoCorp, ITC, State Bank of India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Tata Steel and Axis Bank were trading as the top losers.
