Refined soya oil futures rise on pickup in demand
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for March delivery moved up by Rs 5.7, or 0.46%, to Rs 1,262.2 per 10 kgs.

NEW DELHI: Refined soya oil prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 5.7 to Rs 1,262.2 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators raised their bets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for March delivery moved up by Rs 5.7, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 1,262.2 per 10 kg in 10,225 lots.
Refined soya oil contracts for April delivery gained Rs 1.3, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 1,257.5 per 10 kg in 54,105 lots.
Analysts said widening of positions by traders mainly helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher in futures market.
