Gold futures ease on low demand, slip below Rs 44,750

On Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for April delivery slipped by Rs 125 or 0.28%.

NEW DELHI: Gold futures on Wednesday fell 0.28 per cent to Rs 44,732 per 10 gram as participants offloaded their holdings on a low spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for April delivery slipped by Rs 125, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 44,732 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 11,228 lots.

In the international market, gold was trading 0.23 per cent lower at USD 1,713.00 per ounce in New York.
