Xiaomi 13 Pro to get IP-level rating & new design, reveals teaser ahead of launch

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is about to stun the world with its latest innovation. The brand is gearing up to launch its latest generation of smartphones - the Xiaomi 13 series. The new devices are expected to be launched in China on December 11.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated launch, a new promotional video of the Xiaomi 13 Pro has been released by the brand. The line-up includes the standard Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The teaser has revealed the rear design of the smartphone and has also shown that it will be both dust and water resistant.

According to reports, Xiaomi will unveil the new smartphones along with Xiaomi Buds 4 and Xiaomi Watch S4. While the company has teased the durability facet of the device, it has not shared any details about what IP ratings of the devices. Tech enthusiasts seem to be speculating that the device will most likely come with an IP68 rating.

The new video showcases a green colour variant of the Xiaomi 13 Pro. It has a triple camera module with Leica branding on the camera bump. The device will feature a curved display. The tastefully created promo shows how the device can withstand any wear and tear owing to the changing climatic conditions. Based on the video, it seems the Xiaomi 13 Pro is going to be a sturdy flagship smartphone with top-of-the-line features.

The device will be backed by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It may come with a 12GB RAM and onboard storage up to 256GB. In terms of optics, the device may feature a triple rear camera system with three 50MP sensors and a 32MP front camera. The flagship device will reportedly come with a 4,800mAh battery with 120 fast-charging support.
