Sunil Gupta, MD and CEO, Avis India is broadly keeping the same sleep pattern as before. He is eating 80-90 per cent of his normal diet, and doing a 30-minute workout daily to stay fit.

The car rental company boss told ET Panache, "A brisk purposeful walk in the garden draws disapproving stares, so my workout is restricted to exercises on a mat at home. Most of it revolves around core exercises for the abdomen along with some cardio and back-strengthening routines.

Gupta's exercise routine is largely unchanged. "I am not a big fan of using equipment since my back is sensitive. I am happier with a lean frame than a six-pack," he said.

Sharing work from home tips, the Avis boss said, "It is best to have a broadly set routine while working from home as close to the pre-lockdown routine. Choose a comfortable chair while working from home. Dressing up smart helps to get into the work-zone. Choose a suitable background while video-conferencing."

Other tips include:

-Eat less rather than more

-Take up full responsibility for a couple of household chores to relieve your spouse. Full responsibility means the spouse does not have to wonder what you will take up from day-to-day and prevents run-ins.
-Bring variety into your fitness routine – get your family members or pets to join off and on.

“In these times,it’s more important than ever to love the home you are in and make it as comfortable as possible, and the simple act of cleaning off table-tops, decluttering our bookshelves, organising our pantries and closets can offer that feeling of comfort. Rearranging the furniture is also an inexpensive way to elevate a space without any expenditure. Decluttering the space also helps the user better distinguish what is necessary and what isn’t, and can help pare items to down to the ones we simply can’t live without,” the Bhavsar-Ajmera duo shared.
