Lockdown 2.0: Here's why Rishad Premji will continue to work from home
Operations of IT and IT-enabled services will come under relaxation after April 20.

On Saturday, Wipro Chairman Rishad Premji urged his over 11,000 Twitter followers to stay at home unless 'absolutely essential'.
The 43-year-old information technology company boss took to the micro-blogging site to confirm that he will continue working from home despite the relaxation offered to operations of IT and IT-enabled services.
In his tweet, the former NASSCOM Chairman wrote, "I can (work from home) and want to make way for those that truly need to be out".

— Rishad Premji (@RishadPremji) 1587202191000Addressing the nation on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the lockdown will continue till May 3 as it was necessary to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country. He also added a few activities will be allowed from April 20 during lockdown 2.0.
While these activities will not be applicable to the containment zones, it will be a big relief to several small business.

If the hotspots areas come under control, the authorities will give relaxation to such locations. Further, they also said that the relaxation will be revoked if the lockdown rules are not taken seriously.
