The two began dating on the sets of 'Brahmastra' in 2018 while Bhatt already had a huge crush on the actor.
Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on Thursday (April 14) in an intimate wedding attended by close friends and family at 'Vastu' apartments in Bandra's Pali Hill.
Soon after the wedding ceremonies were concluded, Bhatt took to her official Instagram account to make the announcement and share some dreamy pictures.
The post was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and Bollywood celebrities wishing the newlyweds a happy married life ahead.
Meanwhile, Bhatt also received a warm welcome from mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani who shared pictures of the couple and dedicated a heartfelt note to the new bride.
Veteran actress Neetu shared picture of her son Ranbir kissing the forehead of Bhatt at their wedding. She captioned the image as: "My world."
While Riddhima said that the family loves Bhatt and she can't wait for the actress to be a part of this "incredible journey."

Whereas the Kapoor sisters, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor also shared pictures of the newlyweds as they welcomed Bhatt into the clan.
"Congratulations to this gorgeous couple wish you both a lifetime of happiness and more," Karisma wrote alongside her picture with the bride and groom.
