The legacy lives on: Instagram memorialises Sushant Singh Rajput's account for fans, friends
Memorialised accounts are a place to remember someone's life after they've passed away.

To allow fans and loved ones to continue cherishing the 'Kedarnath' star's legacy, now Instagram has 'memorialised' his account.
The photo-sharing app has added 'Remembering' to Rajput's bio.
Memorialised accounts are a place to remember and celebrate someone's life after they've passed away. Once Instagram memorialises an account, nobody can log in to the account, and while the posts shared by the deceased person will continue to be visible they can no longer be modified.

Memorialised accounts also don't appear on Instagram's Explore page.
Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra home in Mumbai on June 14. Mumbai Police said that the 'Dhoni' actor had died by suicide.
The actor was cremated at the Vile Parle crematorium in the presence of family and close friends from the film and television industry, on Monday. His family immersed the ashes at the Gandhi ghat in his hometown Patna.
Clarification: The earlier version of this copy erroneously mentioned Pawan Hans crematorium. Pawan Hans Limited has clarified that Pawan Hans is their registered Trademark and it has nothing to do with the Vile Parle crematorium.
