Earlier, her actor-turned-entrepreneur husband Abhishek Bachchan had also expressed shock over Rajput's demise, calling him a 'wonderful talent'.

A day after the young actor's death, megastar Amitabh Bachchan admired his 'inner value' that remained unsaid, yet reflected in the way he communicated.

The Big B began his note with a series of 'Whys', and remembered Rajput's brilliant talent and mind. "Your brilliant mind laid to rest without asking, seeking... why," the veteran posted on his blog.

The 77-year-old actor said that Rajpit expressed himself in the depth with philosophical verb several times. "His speak was measured as was his screen presence," he wrote.

Recalling his admiration for Rajput's portrayal of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' in 2016, Bachchan said the film had remarkable moments of the actor's performance.

Bachchan also admired severity of Rajput's professional effort during one of their meetings. "I asked him how did he manage to give that iconic shot of Dhoni hitting a six winning the International tournament to absolute perfection, he (Rajput) said he saw that video of Dhoni a hundred times," he mentioned.

The megastar said Rajput's rise to stardom from being a fourth line background dancer in veteran choreographer Shiamak Davar's troupe is a story by itself. "He came from humble beginnings... rising from those climes to where he was, is a story by itself. Excessiveness can often lead to extremes. What kind of a mind leads one to suicide is an eternal mystery. To end a most gainful life, is simply not permitted," the Big B concluded his note.
