He said the questions in the quiz were not very difficult but the time taken to answer them was the deciding factor.

Shivansh Pal, a class 10 student of Amity School, Noida, also joined the list of winners of the quiz. The 15-year-old, who aspires to be an astrophysicist, said that he is overwhelmed to witness the 'monumental' moment with the PM.

Andhra Pradesh's Pragada Kanchana Balasri Vasavi, a student of Class 10, was also "very excited" for the event as she was the only one from her state to win the contest.

"I participate in all competitions in school so when our teacher told us about the online quiz I was very enthusiastic to participate, I am glad I did and excited about the fact that I am the only one from my state to have won the contest and have the opportunity," Vasavi said.

Ribait Phawa from Ramakrishna Mission School in Meghalaya and Rashi Verma from Delhi Public School in Lucknow, were not only ecstatic to witness the landing of Chandrayaan 2 but also to meet the prime minister in person.

"I have dreamt of meeting him ever since he took over as the prime minister first time. I was in Class 5 then. I am glad I will get to watch this historic event and that too with PM Modi," Verma said.

A soon as Chinmaya Chaudhury from Odisha got the news of his selection, he packed his bags and was ready to leave for the function with his father.

"I have got a letter from ISRO informing me about the selection and that a guardian can also accompany me. Me and my father will be going," he said.

SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has had its share of delays. The first test was delayed by more than five years, from being scheduled in 2013 to finally being conducted in 2018 with a dummy payload.

In April this year, SpaceX had to postpone what would have been its first commercial launch with the Falcon Heavy rocket, citing strong wind in the upper atmosphere.

The launch was rescheduled two days later. Last month, the third flight of the Falcon Heavy was delayed by two days as the team needed a little extra time to wrap up final integration and prep work. The megarocket successfully lofted two dozen satellites into orbit on June 25.
