‘Thank you. Let’s stay connected.’ Anand Mahindra clocks 10 mn followers on Twitter, shares a special message

Mahindra, who joined the platform in April 2009, on Wednesday clocked 10 million followers on the popular microblogging platform Twitter. The industrialist took to his Twitter account to express gratitude to his followers. The billionaire said that the new milestone took him by surprise. In his characteristic humor, he said that he could not believe that he has a family this large.


“My reaction when I saw this milestone in the number of followers. Hard to believe I have a family this large. (Clearly violating Family Planning guidelines!) A huge thank you to all for your interest and your belief in me. Let’s stay connected,” read Mahindra’s tweet which he ended with thank you emojis.
The chairman of Mahindra Group has been very active on social media. He frequently posts trending videos from social media. His motivational posts on Mondays are also quite famous among his fans. At times, Mahindra has taken the help of his followers to seek their suggestions and recommendations on various topics.

On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, the Mahindra boss took to his Twitter account to share an inspirational message from the teachings of Guru Nanak. "A very Happy #Gurupurab to you all. We are blessed, as a country, to have been the place of birth of this great soul. His teachings advocated selfless service to humanity, prosperity and social justice for all. Never has the world needed to heed his words more," tweeted Mahindra.
Mahindra had also shared a video on the teachings of Guru Nanak in a subsequent tweet.
