“I’m visiting the Philippines for the first time and will be travelling with family and friends. My kids love beach holidays and we all enjoy water sports. So, this year we’re visiting Boracay and El Nido — two destinations on the top 5 must-visit places in the world. These destinations are also a great escape. It’ll help in relaxation and getting rejuvenated for the busy months that lie ahead.”

“I will be going to Spain with three of my childhood friends and their families. They also have two kids each who are the same age as my children and they all get along. We did a similar trip to Greece last year. This year, however, I want to just sit by the pool and do nothing.”

“I am an avid traveller and love exploring new cities and countries whenever I can. This summer, I am looking forward to exploring the African continent. If I have to recall my favourite summer vacation, it has to be in 2005, when I was in the UK and was about to start my job. The duration in between gave me time to explore new countries and experience different cultures. It was an experience that not only helped me become a better person but also pushed me to move beyond my comfort zone.”

“The Andaman Islands. It’ll be my first trip and I’m curious about the crystal blue beaches and its ties to our Indian freedom history. So a mix of historical spots, scenic beaches and water sports. I have two boys [14 and 10 years] who love all types of water sports and adventure. Overall, this holiday will be about spending time with my family in a beautiful, calm place where we can all learn something as well.”

“I was recently in Manali [early March]. It was the perfect time to visit, since it was just the onset of summer and we were lucky enough to get some snow and rain. One of our most memorable experiences there was when we went river rafting. Having the cold water splash on our faces was a thrilling experience. Then there were ATV rides in the snow, and we even rode a yak. My next trip is to London in the first week of June. It is a business trip combined with a bit of pleasure. I am hoping to catch the Isle of Man TT race; the deadliest and one of the oldest and most popular racing events in the world.”

“My summer plans this year include nothing very Instagrammable. Work, family time and some quiet contemplation. Owing to family commitments, we are not heading out anywhere this year. But if I could, I would head out to the East of India— it is a region that deserves to be visited with a lot of time on your hands, and I have never been able to do that.”

“The sights of the Dartmoor area in Cornwall, England or the mountain waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland or the pristine Perth beaches in Australia are the destinations that I love to visit time and again.

In India, my favourite holiday remains staying at a high quality house boat in Nagin Lake at Kashmir— It’s like nothing I have experienced anywhere in the world.”
