SRK meets Jack Dorsey after his 'you up' tweet; Rahman hangs out with Twitter CEO too

During his visit to India, Dorsey also met the Dalai Lama, PM Modi, and Rahul Gandhi.

MUMBAI: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman met Twitter CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey, with Rahman calling it an "inspiring" meeting.

Dorsey had, on Wednesday night, tweeted to SRK asking him if he was up. The 'Raees' actor replied a few hours later with a cheeky tweet saying, Up and Ready. And shockingly on time...if anybody has warned u about my tardiness they r just spreading ‘fake news...’

Khan later also shared a photograph with Dorsey. The two are seated in a yogic position with their eyes closed.

The 'Dear Zindagi' star captioned the image: "Today Jack made me realise with his calm demeanour and composed, nearly meditative mindset 'that all work and no pray, would make Jack a dull boy'. Thanks for dropping in and also team Twitter for a lively evening. Have a happy stay in India."

Rahman posted an image of Dorsey and himself and wrote: "Had an inspiring meeting with Jack."

Dorsey on Monday met Congress President Rahul Gandi and also addressed students at the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi where he spoke on several issues, including the spread of misinfomation on Twitter.

Twitter's recent move of removing millions of suspicious account in its battle against fake new has led to many celebrities, politicians and social media influencers losing followers.

The move didn't spare Twitter's own account either, as the social media's official handle lost about 12 percent of its total followers - about 7.7 million.
