She called them her absolute favourites and said that when talent combines with goodness, the result is pure magic. Overflowing with pride, she added that her heart was full and she was more than ready to brag about them forever.



In response, SRK made a flirty and adorable request that quickly won the internet. He wrote: “Please brag about me to me when we sit for dinner tonight… thanks for producing the film,” — a reference to Gauri’s role as producer on Jawan, the film that earned him the prestigious award.

National Award winners

Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey shared the National Award for Best Actor this year, thanks to their standout performances in Jawan and 12th Fail, respectively. Rani Mukerji was honoured with the Best Actress award for her gripping role in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. And adding to the celebration, Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani bagged the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
