The wait for the next chapter of Roadies is almost over, and this time the adventure reality show is changing the rules of the game. Roadies Rebirth is bringing back familiar faces, a new team-based format and a fresh batch of contestants ready to face physical challenges, rivalries and plenty of drama. But the biggest change is not just who is returning, it is how the Gang Leaders will compete. The makers have announced the OTT release date.

For the first time, Roadies Rebirth will be available on Netflix and JioHotstar, apart from its television broadcast on MTV. The new season will premiere on October 16, 2026, with fresh episodes arriving every Friday and Saturday at 7 pm.

One of the biggest highlights of Roadies Rebirth is the return of Rannvijay Singha as host. His association with the franchise goes back several years, making his comeback an important part of the show's new chapter.

Speaking about returning to Roadies, Rannvijay said the show has a much deeper meaning for him than being just another television project. He recalled, "Roadies isn’t just a show for me; it’s an emotion. After all these years, the hunger, courage and dreams of every Roadie still hit differently. Roadies REBIRTH is about that very essence, i.e., pushing your limits, fighting harder and refusing to back down."

Roadies Rebirth release date and streaming time

Roadies Rebirth will premiere on October 16, 2026. Episodes will be released every Friday and Saturday at 7 pm.

The season will have a wider digital reach this time, with viewers able to watch it on both Netflix and JioHotstar. The show will also continue its television run on MTV.

This marks a change from previous seasons, which were generally associated with one streaming platform. With Roadies Rebirth, the makers have opted for a dual-OTT release alongside television.

Roadies Rebirth format: OGs vs NewGs

The biggest talking point of the new season is its OGs vs NewGs format. Unlike earlier editions, where Gang Leaders typically handled their own individual gangs, the six leaders this time have been divided into two larger teams.

The OG team consists of three familiar faces from the Roadies universe - Nikhil Chinapa, Neha Dhupia and Prince Narula. The trio brings years of experience with the franchise and will compete as one unit.

On the other side is the NewG team, featuring Abhishek Malhan, Bani J and Baseer Ali. The three represent a newer generation of reality-show personalities and will take on the OG team.

Six Gang Leaders, two teams

The change means that Roadies Rebirth will have six Gang Leaders but only two competing teams. Instead of six separate groups operating independently, the leaders will work together within their respective OG and NewG teams.

The format is expected to change the way contestants, leaders and alliances play the game. However, the core elements of Roadies remain intact, with contestants taking part in demanding tasks while dealing with competition, eliminations and interpersonal drama.

Along with the new team structure, viewers can expect the familiar mix of adventure, physical challenges, competition and reality-show drama.
