Well, you don't have to stop yourself any more. Try this easy, no-fuss masala onion patti samosa recipe for mouth-watering savouries in no time.
Masala onion patti samosa
Ingredients:
Spring roll sheets: 5
For stuffing:
Sliced onion: 2
Curry leaves: 10
Ginger garlic paste: 15 gms
Chopped green chillies: 1
Chopped coriander: 10 gms
Coriander powder: 5 gms
Oil:
Salt: To taste
Method:
- Cut the spring roll sheets in 2 inch strips and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds till they crackle.
- Check for seasoning and cool to room temperature.
- Add turmeric and sliced onion and cook till onion turns translucent. Then add coriander powder and salt, followed by chopped coriander.
- Then take a tea spoon of onion stuffing and make rolls with spring roll strips
- Roll to triangle shape and deep fry on medium heat till it turns to golden brown.
