Pink's the colour of love! Bengaluru done, Deepika-Ranveer head home to Mumbai
The newlyweds will host two receptions in Mumbai.

The event was attended by sports stars including badminton champion PV Sindhu, coach P. Gopichand, former cricketer Anil Kumble, alongside India Inc honchos like Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and Infosys Foundation chairman Sudha Murty.
B-town's newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh hosted the first of their three wedding receptions at The Leela hotel in Bengaluru.
Among the celebrity attendees were Infosys Foundation chairman Sudha Murty, Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, cricketer Anil Kumble, badminton champion PV Sindhu, and fashion guru Prasad Bidappa.

Ranveer Singh wore a custom-designed Rohit Bal sherwani with intricate, gold embroidery. He completed his look with matching juttis.
The actress opted for a saree gifted to her by mother Ujjala Padukone from Bengaluru-based Angadi Galleria. Styled by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the actress paired the saree with a white blouse. She completed her look with a pearl necklace, an emerald choker with matching earrings and rings, chooda, and gajra.
The theme of the evening was red and gold. The staircase of the luxury hotel was adorned with red flower arrangements, similar to the decor at their Sindhi wedding ceremony.
Before the reception, the actress was spotted overseeing the preparations at the hotel.
Deepika-Ranveer gave us major relationship goals as the posed for shutterbugs.
Singh, who has never shied away from displaying his love for the actress, was once again seen helping Padukone with her saree.
Badminton star PV Sindhu looked breathtaking for the reception in an Anamika Khanna outfit. Her traditional gown featured intricate, silver embellishments. She paired it with a matching dupatta, and completed her look with pearl necklace, earring and mangtika.

Bengaluru-based nutritionist Pooja Makhija, who was at the reception, shared several Instagram Stories with the bride's mother and father.
Makhija credited Ujjala Padukone, who was dressed in a maroon, silk saree with gold zari, for being the reason the actress is grounded, loved and worshipped.
In another Instagram Story, she shared an image with her husband Ravi Makhija and the actress's father Prakash Padukone who was dressed in a black bandhgala.

Former cricketer Anil Kumble attended the much-awaited rception with wife Chethana Ramatheertha. While Jumbo opted for a blue tailored suit, gold tie and matching pocket square, Mrs. Kumble wore a pink saree. She completed her look with a white Sabyasachi clutch.

Nutritionist Pooja Makhija shared a picture with the smiling bride Deepika and her mother Ujjala Padukone. In her post, the Bangalore-based nutritionist praised the actress for her humility and appreciated Ranveer Singh for being by her side through thick and thin.

Deepika's connection with the world of badminton is not limited to her father, Prakash Padukone, who has been a World No. 1 shuttler, rather the actress too played at the state level before turning to modelling and Bollywood.

They newlyweds will host two more receptions in Mumbai. The first one on Wednesday which will play host to the Bhavnanis friends and family, and the other one on December 1, which will be the big Bollywood extravaganza.
After dating for six years, the actors, who met and fell in love on the sets of 'Ram Leela', tied the knot in Italy on November 14-15.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's intimate Lake Como wedding was just what bridal dreams are made of. Hosted over a period of three days, with only close family and friends in attendance, the festivities began with a mehendi function, followed by the couple taking their vows in two separate ceremonies - a Konkani and a Sindhi one - over the next two days as a mark of respect to their lineage.
The pictures from their wedding, that have gone viral, show the 'Padmaavat' actors looking oh-so-in-love and acing the bridal fashion game.
Deepika Padukone looked like a dream in a blush pink Chinkaari kurta surrounded by pink roses with Lake Como in the background for her traditional mehendi ceremony. She completed the look with a deep red shawl and jewellery that included a maharani haar. The 'Piku' actress opted for a nude make-up look with a small bindi.
Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee who dressed the actress for the function described it as 'a very traditional Indian mehendi - right from the clothes to the divine music to the absolutely spectacular food'. He went on to add that while the weather conditions were less than ideal with two days of rain just before, the sun came out on the day of the mehendi.
Ranveer Singh was a picture of happiness as he danced during the mehendi ceremony. The dapper actor opted for a printed angarkha and maroon jacket by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. He completed the look with vintage sunglasses.
The actors' mothers, Ujjala Padukone and Anju Bhavnani, and sisters, Anisha and Ritika, were all dressed in outfits by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. They couple's picture with the women in their lives looks just perfect for a bridal campaign.
For the Konkani wedding ceremony, Deepika wore a pure gold zari Kanjivaram brocade silk saree gifted by her mother Ujjala Padukone. As per tradition, the bride wears an outfit bought by the mother.
Reportedly, the actress and her mum picked out the red saree with Gandaberunda (a two-headed bird) motifs from Bengaluru's Angadi Galleria. It was styled for the ceremony by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee who added a tissue Kanjeevaram veil, and completed the look with traditional jewellery.
Padukone opted for dark kohl-rimmed eyes and nude lips, and sported a floral bun with layers of gajra.
Ranveer Singh was a traditional South Indian groom for the Konkani wedding in a white and gold kurta and dhoti by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
For the Anand Karaj ceremony, Padukone looked resplendent in a red and gold Sabyasachi lehenga. The actress covered her head with a dupatta that had the incantation ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ on the border.
She completed her look with heavy traditional jewellery including a big maatha tika and earrings. A gold nose ring, chooda, and kalire transformed her to a gorgeous North Indian bride. The only thing similar about Padukone's two wedding looks was that the actress styled her hair in a floral bun.
Ranveer Singh complemented his bride in a red and gold Kanjeevaram sherwani by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The actor keep his look regal wearing strings of rubies, a jadau neckpiece, and a turban for the Anand Karaj.
