'Pathaan' unstoppable on Day 12, mints Rs 832 crore at worldwide box office

The movie's gross collection in India stands at Rs 515 crore.

The Hindi version of 'Pathaan' has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark.
Twelve days, and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Pathaan' shows no sign of stopping.

The much-hyped movie has entered the Rs 800 crore club in style in 12 just days. Production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) announced on Monday that the movie minted Rs 832 crore (gross), globally.



In the social media post, the banner said that the gross collection of the movie in India alone stands at Rs 515 crore, and it made Rs 317 crore (gross) from the overseas market, where SRK has a massive fan following. Meanwhile, all-India nett figures stand at Rs 429.90 crore.

According to a statement released by YRF, the Siddharth Anand-directed film raised Rs 28.50 crore nett in India (Hindi - Rs 27.50 crore, dubbed versions - Rs 1 crore) on Day 12.

Calling 'Pathaan' an "unstoppable force," film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the Hindi version of the film has shown an excellent jump on the second weekend and collected Rs 414.50 crore.

Another film trade analyst and movie critic Sumit Kadel said that 'Pathaan' became the first Hindi film to collect Rs 800 crore (gross) worldwide (barring China territory).


On January 25, the movie was released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The movie was released on a Wednesday and enjoyed the year's first long weekend benefit as Republic Day was a national holiday on January 26 (Thursday).

'Pathaan' marks King Khan's return to the big screen after five years. It also features Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.

The movie revolves around the life of an Indian intelligence agent (played by SRK), who returns from exile to thwart a terror attack planned by the mercenary group Outfit X, led by Jim (Abraham) on India.

'Pathaan' is the fourth movie in producer Aditya Chopra's spy universe, following Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai', and 'War', featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.

The fifth film 'Tiger 3' in the spy universe is expected to come to the theatres on Diwali. SRK will make a cameo in the film.
