Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan beats Aamir Khan's Dangal, movie mints over Rs 700 crore worldwide

​2023 will be an action-packed year for SRK! He has not one, but three films this year. One (‘Pathaan’) has already hit the theatres and demolished box-office records. The other two movies, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ will also release this year! For SRK fans who have suffered a drought for four years, this calls for a celebration!​

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is back at what he does best - entertaining his legion of fans and setting the box office on fire! His comeback vehicle, ‘Pathaan’ is a smash hit and has broken multiple BO records since its release!

​There’s no denying, ‘Pathaan’ is a monster at the box office. The SRK-Deepika Padukone movie is inching close to earning Rs 600 crore, in six days! The film minted Rs 540 crore in five days. ​

According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the movie grossed Rs 235 crore worldwide on day 2!

​Earlier, in an interview, Khan had revealed that he had always wanted to star in an out-and-out action flick but never got a proper opportunity until ‘Pathaan’​

John Abraham is a YRF (Yash Raj Films) veteran. He had earlier worked in three YRF movies, the action-adventure ‘Dhoom’ (2004), the action thriller ‘Kabul Express’ (2006), and the drama-thriller ‘New York’ (2009).

​Believe it or not, Abraham is a seasoned professional when it comes to playing the baddie on screen! He has played the menacing villain in films like ‘Dhoom’ (2004), ‘Aetbaar’ (2004), ‘Zinda’ (2006), ‘Race 2’ and ‘Shootout At Wadala’ (2013), and ‘Ek Villain Returns’ (2022).​

Fans can’t wait to see Khan back in action. His next ‘Jawaan’ will be helmed by Tamil director Atlee. It will hit theatres on June 2.
