On the grape vine: When a billionaire was asked to hush up at a screening

Be it handling money or visiting a theatre, one needs to learn to play by the rules.

A money man, who has dealt with finance his whole life and has a special affinity for the feline species, was spotted recently at a restored South Mumbai cultural venue to catch a play with friends.

Unfortunately for him, his friend didn’t behave the way the venerable institution and veteran audiences expect — staying quiet during the performance.


Those around mostly stuck to throwing glares towards them during the first half. But ahead of the second half, he was “gently requested” to keep it down.

Of course, it didn’t help much. So embarrassed was he, that he had to tell his friend to pipe down. It’s not every day that billionaires are told to hush up, after all.
