'No tasty food.' Elon Musk reveals three things that helped him lose 13 kg

Elon Musk is not only the world’s richest man, but also the Internet’s favourite man. Anything the billionaire says or does, becomes a trending topic on social media platforms, especially Twitter, which he now holds total control over.

Ever since the 51-year-old business genius became the leader of the microblogging platform, the billionaire has become much more active on Twitter.

From dropping details about the microblogging platform’s upcoming features and updates, to sharing insights on his personal progress and life. Something similar happened on Wednesday when the Tesla chief shared some inspiring details about this weight loss journey, which has also become the topic of conversation among netizens.


The change in Musk’s physique has been quite visible. As a matter of fact, Musk has lost over 13 kg so far in his weight loss journey.

In response to a tweet, the SpaceX boss revealed that he has lost nearly 30 lbs (13 kg).

"You've lost a ton of weight, Elon! Keep up the fantastic work," a person wrote on Twitter.
The user also posted two pictures of Musk in the tweet which clearly showed off the billionaire’s inspiring weight loss transformation.

In his reply, Musk confirmed the weight loss speculation and informed that he has almost lost 13 kg. "Down 30 lbs," Musk replied back to the man’s tweet.

When another one asked the secret to his weight loss, Musk gladly shared his fitness mantra.

The 51-year-old’s formula for weight loss is simple: It’s a combination of fasting and absence of tasty food. He is also on diabetes medication Ozempic/Wegovy to remain healthy and fit.

"Fasting + Ozempic/Wegovy + no tasty food near me," Musk tweeted.
Another user asked Musk if his diabetes drug Ozempic cause side-effects like burps that taste like rotten eggs.

"Does it give you those nasty burps too? Tastes like rotten eggs lol ugh," (sic) the user wrote.

The Twitter boss nodded and replied saying, "Yeah, next-level."

Ozempic is a brand-name prescription medication that's used to improve blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes, along with diet and exercise. It also helps in decreasing appetite and helps in managing weight.

While this technique may have worked for Musk, it's not necessary that this fitness mantra will also help you lose weight. Before you start any diet or medication, please consult your doctor and dietician so they can guide you as per your body goals and health.
