Forget the grueling gym sessions and endless runs; Madhavan's secret weapon is chewing. Yes, you read that right. The actor claims he chewed each bite of food 45-60 times! And then there’s the intermittent fasting, early nights, and plenty of green veggies, the actor revealed his secrets in an interview with the Curly Tales.
After gaining weight for his directorial debut, "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect," Madhavan shared his remarkable journey of shedding those extra pounds in just 21 days without intense workouts or running.
The 54-year-old actor said, "Drink your food and chew your water," highlighting the importance of mindful eating.
Madhavan's regime included having his last meal by 6:45 pm, consisting solely of cooked food, as he avoids anything raw post 3 pm. He also highlighted the benefits of early morning long walks, early nights with deep sleep, and no screen time at least 90 minutes before bed. His diet was rich in plenty of fluids and green vegetables, focusing on easily metabolized and healthy foods while strictly avoiding anything processed.
One user pointed out the role of diet in weight loss, stating, "Food is 80% and exercise is only 20% so you can lose weight without working out, but for 21 days, he must have followed a really strict diet." Another doubted the 21-day claim, suggesting that Madhavan's transformation was due to a special diet and lifestyle.
