The fourth week of September is bringing a mix of new movies and shows across streaming platforms. From crime and courtroom dramas to supernatural stories, romantic comedies and reality shows, there is something for viewers looking for different genres. Several international titles are also arriving alongside new Indian releases, giving audiences plenty of options to add to their weekend watchlist.

Shaque: Trust No One - Netflix

Shaque: Trust No One will premiere on Netflix on September 24, 2026. The crime thriller stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role and follows a mother who has spent nine years searching for her missing daughter. Directed by Rensil D’Silva and created by Rensil D’Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra, the series also features Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Harleen Sethi, Sumeet Vyas and Dhruv Chowdhary. The story revolves around suspicion, secrets and a long-running search for the truth.


Habeas Corpus - Netflix

Brazilian legal drama Habeas Corpus will be available on Netflix from September 23. The series follows Inez, played by Marjorie Estiano, a respected law professor and former criminal defence lawyer who leads a group of students investigating the wrongful conviction of a young man. Any Gabrielly plays Marina, one of Inez’s brightest students, who joins the investigation while carrying a personal reason connected to her family’s past. The series is inspired by the work of Innocence Project Brasil.



My Sad Dead - Netflix

My Sad Dead arrives on Netflix on September 24 as a four-part limited horror series. Directed by Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín, the series stars Mercedes Morán as Ema, a recently retired doctor who can communicate with the dead. Her niece Julie, played by Dolores Fonzi, arrives with her own unusual connection to spirits. The story takes a darker turn after three teenagers are murdered in their neighbourhood, disturbing the boundary between the living and the dead.

Blood Legacy Season 2 - Netflix

The second season of South African drama Blood Legacy will stream on Netflix from September 24. The new season continues the story of the Ndlovu family, with Xolile Tshabalala returning as Khanyi. After being framed for her father’s murder and abducted by a corrupt politician, Khanyi fights to clear her name and regain her inheritance. Buyile Mdladla, Ruben Naidoo and Mike Ndlangamandla are also part of the cast. The new season brings more family conflict, political corruption and secrets.

Hunkkaar – The Roar - JioHotstar

Hunkkaar – The Roar will premiere on JioHotstar on September 25. The crime-courtroom thriller stars Aneet Padda as 17-year-old Meenu Rawat, who accuses a powerful spiritual leader named Baapji of sexual assault. Raghubir Yadav plays the influential cult leader. The story focuses on Meenu’s fight for justice against a powerful figure and the legal battle that follows her accusation.

Agadha - ZEE5

The supernatural thriller Agadha will arrive on ZEE5 on September 25. The film follows Mahadevi, a spiritually gifted woman who is forced to enter a forbidden cave to confront a dark entity named Agadha. She must face the supernatural force to protect her family from an impending threat. The film combines elements of horror, spirituality and fantasy.



Don’t Be Shy - Prime Video

Don’t Be Shy will stream on Prime Video from September 25. Produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under Eternal Sunshine Productions, the coming-of-age romantic comedy introduces Aarushi Bajaj, Piyush Khati, Ansh Duggal and Bianca Arora. Aarushi plays Shyamili “Shy” Das, a young woman whose carefully planned life changes when she finds herself caught between two relationships. Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia and Anju Alva Naik also feature in supporting roles.

Rise And Fall Season 2 - Amazon Prime Video

Reality show Rise And Fall Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 26. The new season will be hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and will feature 15 contestants. The format puts contestants in a high-pressure environment where their positions can change throughout the game, making alliances and strategy important parts of the competition.

With these releases arriving between September 23 and 26, the week offers a mix of Indian and international content across Netflix, JioHotstar, ZEE5 and Prime Video.
