Mumbai's torrential rain has been making headlines for weeks now. Flooded roads and train stations, delayed and cancelled flights and low accessibility to basic services is giving Mumbaikars a hard time. Under these circumstances, when there is too less to be thankful for, Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra expressed gratitude for a service he has been receiving uninterruptedly. Looks like the top boss, who has embraced the digital era with ease, continues to have a soft corner for his morning newspaper read. Today, when he received a clean and dry edition of the Times of India, he took to Twitter to thank the 'unsung heroes' who delivered it to him on time and dry.

The boardroom veteran took to Twitter to share a word of thanks. He wrote, "Mumbai Airport runway shut, schools closed, train stations flooded, but the newspapers arrived in my house on time & dry! I have to salute those quiet, unsung heroes who brave torrential rain just so we can experience a ‘normal day.’"

On Monday, the business tycoon posted a quirky tweet while apologising to megastar Amitabh Bachchan, saying that there's only one 'Big B' this week, the Budget. Recently, he crossed the 7 million followers mark on Twitter.
