While playing around with the headline of the post, Anand Mahindra pointed out at the 'unfair contest' that compared the Jaguar to a Bolero.
Mumbai floods have spared none, be it the citizens, the streets, roads or cars. From the Mahindra Bolero to Tata Jaguar, every drive is struggling its way through the city that is currently more of a seascape. While some people have succumbed to the situation, others are trying to laugh their way out of it. Recently, a car advice platform spotted a Jaguar stuck in the floods, and a Bolero tearing its way through the water 'like a boss'. While it was a witty compliment for the Mahindra and Mahindra Group, the company's chairman did not seem impressed with the contest. Anand Mahindra, who is popular for ruling the boardroom and Twitter at the same time with his wit, left his followers happy with yet another smart response.

While playing around with the headline of the post, Mahindra pointed out at the 'unfair contest' that compared the Jaguar to a Bolero. He explained that both the cars are created for different purposes. However, towards the end, the business veteran reiterated that this is the reason why Bolero is his favourite drive.

"We won’t brag over this. It’s an unfair contest. The Bolero’s meant to negotiate such landscapes (seascapes?)But now you know why the Bolero’s my favourite vehicle to drive. 'Jaguar gets stuck in Mumbai floods: Mahindra Bolero drives through like a BOSS'"

Impressed with Mahindra's witty comment, Twitterati left thousands of responses on the same thread. While some seemed happy, others tried to engage in a debate with the business honcho.

Bragging while not bragging, advertising while not advertising, that's business tycoon Mahindra for Twitterati.

Meanwhile on Monday, Mahindra and Mahindra MD Pawan Goenka drove his first 'self-owned' car, the XUV300, as a customer. Tweeting about the proud moment on Ganesh Chaturthi, he wrote that driving the car as an owner for the first time was very exciting for him. Witty as ever, his boss Mahindra replied by complimenting Goenka's 'good choice'.
