Admire the 'chutzpah': Anand Mahindra has a witty response for man who asks for SUV on Twitter

The Mahindra Group chairman said that giving in to such requests would lead to closure of his business.

Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra was once again at his Twitter best on Friday, responding to a man who asked him for an SUV as a birthday gift.

In a tweet to the top boss, a users wrote, "Sir.. Big fan of yours. Can you gift me a Mahindra Thar on my bday...."



Mahindra, an avid Twitter user, not only took note of the tweet, but also had a witty reply ready for the user.

Lauding the man's 'chutzpah', Mahindra tweeted the definition of the word, however, adding that giving in to such requests would lead to closure of his business.

The 64-year-old business leader wrote, "Word lesson of the day: 'CHUTZPAH - noun: extreme self-confidence or audacity (usually used approvingly)'. Love him or hate him, you have to admire Vipul's chutzpah. Full marks for chutzpah, Vipul, but unfortunately I can't say yes. Mera dhandha bund ho jayega!"
